Trial Bay Gaol Ruins – Sth West Rocks pt2
The gaol ruins were the highlight of the day for me… massive massive stone walls with no ceiling, letting in fractions of sunlight just over the tips of the walls. I’m glad I accidentally arrived late in the afternoon, I don’t think a midday sun would do the texture and shape any justice.

Lachlan & Mikayla and a playground afternoon
Lachlan and Mikayla; not brother & sister, not cousins, but aunt and nephew. My aunt and my cousin wanted to get photos of the kids, an afternoon at a playground was the perfect setting.

Caterpillars get to have all the fun…
I took this series of shots over a month ago… I am slowly getting through the last couple of months worth of images, editing and uploading.
The caterpillar was crawling all around and over a door handle and locking bolt for a good 10 minutes, and was even kind enough to give a wave in the last shot.
